Video clip: Helen would love to be promoted to professor one day but she worries about how to be a really good clinician, researcher, teacher and (hopefully) a mother too.

I would love to be a professor of primary care [one day]. I definitely would like to be promoted. It’s just how that’s going to happen with also wanting to be a really good clinician and also wanting to be a really good mum, and I think that’s a challenge which I have over and above some academic scientists because they’ll only be trying to balance two things, whereas I’m trying to balance three things, and I really like my teaching as well and doing lots of teaching so that’s kind of four things, and it’s trying to fit that all in and you know you can’t do them all.
