Interview excerpt: The Access To Work scheme paid for taxis so Mary could get to work.

I get travel support with Access To Work. Originally they would pay for a taxi. But I live in [place], and I just can't bear spending that much money on a taxi regularly [laughing], even if it's not my money - it just seems wrong. The first year, movement was painful. And I lived out in the sticks, and the village bus is one of those old bone shakers. So it was actually very painful being on a bus. So I did use the taxi sometimes then. Now, I try to only use the taxi if I've got stuff to carry in, or something. Usually speaking, I use a bus. Which is okay [laughs]. Takes absolutely forever, but that's okay.
