Interview excerpt: Charlotte described how the stress of working with an emotionally unpredictable senior colleague over a period of time contributed to a decline in her mental health.

Over time it really eroded my sense of safety if you like, I think, and security where I was working. So I, I think that was not helpful. I don't think that was the major trigger for my CPTSD. But it definitely contributed to it. And I think it definitely didn't help, when the CPTSD came on, that I continued to be in that environment. So that was kind of part of the trouble. Chicken or egg? Hard to say. But I don't think it was the major cause.
