Rachel has a long term health condition and found the high intensity of her previous role exacerbated her condition. At first she sought a reduction in hours.
I kind of felt that if I was going to be unwell and at work, and it could potentially have an impact, then I kind of needed occupational health to be on my side; fighting in my corner.
However, after a trial period it became clear that she needed to change roles. She is now much happier and better able to manager her condition in her new role.
